Blaenavon find

I found this piece of contemporary archaeology on visit to  Blaenavon near to Big Pit yesterday - crushed and rusted computer tower case so exciting especially being in world heritage site with its history of iron works. what is it  to become !

Spikey Dog selected for National Exhibition October 2012

Spikey Dog has been selected to be exhibited in the Outside In National exhibition at The Pallent House Gallery Chichester 

27th October 2012 - 3rd February 2013 

Spikey Dog is a feral creature made out what I find by the road side. Screws from a skip screwed into holes bashed with a nail into what I think is the metal base of a catalytic converter bolted together car parts; the teeth are drink can pull rings some of the discarded overlooked things that I pick up.

 A primitive dog he's like the part of me that functions on its own outside of my control – unpredictable, erratic, impulsive, and spontaneous.
