'Malvern sculptor Jacob Rock makes art from recycled materials. So when he was asked to design a cube sculpture for Malvern Community Trusts relaunch of the former Malvern Youth Centre as the Malvern Cube, he came up with an eco art design using found objects assembled in the form of a cube.'

August 2012 Below is a maquette for a cube sculpture I have been asked to design for the Malvern Cube Building the sculpture is intended to be 1Metre square and attached to the roof! above is the half sized cube that I have build!

Arty show Garden 'The Creative Hand'

Caves Folly Nurseries have been organising the Eco Area at Malvern Spring Shows for 11 years. At this years show they are organising an area called the Eco Art and Garden Area. The area will include a selection of Eco friendly exhibitors as well as a selection of Art and Artists.
The display garden ' The Creative Hand' designed by Caves Folly will be a showcase of wacky ideas to inspire visitors to think more of the role of art in the garden.

This  Mural was created by me at Malvern Youth Centre in support of its threatened closure. I was asked to reflect the Quaker peace garden originally designed for Malvern Spring Gardening Show

'Jacob Rocks recycled monsters crept into his neighbour Betty Clarks  garden to greet those who where coming to see Betty's one off ceramics' Malvern Gazette.
These are some images from the sculpture trail of my beasts I created in my neighbours garden in Great Malvern as part of  the 1st Worcestershire Arts Trail over the Bank Holiday Weekend 27th -30th  May. This was very successful and well received. My neighbour Betty Clarke had a display of her hand built ceramics in her studio along with some of my paintings and cards.
